About Sidney

As a child, Sidney grew up baking with her grandma....or should we say licking off the spatula? As she got older, she started making dinner for her family. In high school, she went on vacation and discovered pain au chocolat and fell in love with it. After this, she became obsessed and wanted to figure out how to make it. She had this in mind while trying to figure out what to do after high school, which is when she discovered the Culinary Institute of America. After graduating the two year program, she decided to open up Sid's Patisserie, and travel around with her trailer, selling the items she loves to bake.

Future For Sid's Patisserie

Sid's Patisserie hopes to expand to an actual food truck where we can have products such as hot soup, sandwiches, and maybe even drinks!

About My Time At The CIA

Sidney attended the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, California and graduated with an associates degree in Baking and Pastry in the spring of 2024. During this two year program she learned the ins and outs of being a pastry chef, mastering items such as croissants, cakes, and even chocolate bars!

For her required externship, she spent a summer working at the renowned Patisserie46 (and their wholesale kitchen, The Bread Lab), in Minneapolis, Minnesota, making thousands of croissants a day.
